What a proper pub, Great bar well stocked with a good selection of beers. The girls behind the bar were friendly and very welcoming. Plenty of bar stools so you could sit at the bar If you wanted to. Open fires with chesterfield sofa's made a comfortable area. We stayed for two nights and couldn't fault it, Breakfast is served in your room at a time you pre book with the bar girls. Breakfast is amazing nice and hot. Would highly recommend staying here.

Friendly, helpful and efficient team, the accommodation was very clean. Excellent breakfast served in your room spot on the time requested breakfast available between 0730hrs and 0930hrs. If sailing on the Scillonian, the quay is literally across the road. Drop your bags at the quay at 0730hrs then pop back across to your room for breakfast. Car parking available at the pub overnight on request. Vegan breakfast available on request.

The night we stayed was our 43rd wedding anniversary, and we came on after crossing back from Scilly that evening. The little treat and surprise that I had arranged was effected with a smile, and my wife and I enjoyed the champagne. The bed is a giant, bigger than anything we have ever slept in, but we have looked forward to it these last four or five years that we have chosen to stay here as our holiday ends. Breakfast in the room with a view is a real treat and sets up our travel day (of 360 miles home) so well

Really spacious room, well furnished and very smart. Space for a small table and chairs too, which breakfast was served at anytime between 7:30pm and 9am. Great to have a small fridge in room too. Bathroom was huge too! Beds comfy. Car parking was a bonus. Really close to ferry and promenade.

All but one of the staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful. The room was light, bright and clean, spotless bedding and nice large en-suite. It was very pleasant eating breakfast in the room in the bay window which was brought to the room by catering staff, who were so nice. Lively in the bar on a Friday evening, so fun although no food is served there are plenty of eateries and takeaways nearby.

Brilliant Location. Only five minute walk from the Scillonian Ferry, (to the Isles of Scilly) and less than ten minutes walk from Penzance train station. Doggy friendly if you have one. Nice size bedroom with table and chairs in (for breakfast if you fancy) rather than going down stairs. Large size bathroom also. Very clean and tidy throughout. Staff we found to be very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would highly recommend and will no doubt, return to 'The Dock Inn' for any future visiting to Penzance.

Walking distance from Penzance Station. Clean comfortable room, with large comfortable bed and TV. Very handy for catching the Scillonian ferry to the Isles of Scilly. Good sized bathroom with nice walk in shower. Very good cooked breakfast.

I travel all over Cornwall with work and stay in some of the best Hotels but in Penzance my budget doesn’t stretch far. This quaint little friendly pub is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are very clean and the bed is very comfy! The breakfast which is brought to your room is stunning! Lovely staff that make you feel very welcome. Next door is another pub that serves very good food and again the staff are very friendly.

Its location across the road from the quay was perfect for us as we were getting the ferry to the Scillies the next morning. Everyone was really welcoming and helpful and the breakfast, served in our room was lovely.

Great location for catching the Scilly Isles ferry. Friendly welcome. Dogs welcome. Excellent breakfast- love the table & chairs set up in the room as you can get organised and your freshly cooked items are brought to the room. There is a fridge for the chilled breakfast items. Fantastic shower
